Ramlawi affirms that the Goldstone Report recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to bring Israeli war criminals before international courts, mainly the International Criminal Court. He advises that the onus on pursuing this issue lies with the Palestinian side and it would be unacceptable to surrender this right and allow war criminals to escape justice. <img border="0" src="../images/SEYASAT%2012.jpg" width="168" height="226" align="left"></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-right: 1.3pt"> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman">&nbsp;Dr. Sameer Abu Mdallaleh, Head of the Economics Department at al-Azhar University in Gaza, presents a report, possibly the first of its kind,  The Tunnels Economy of the Gaza Strip: A National Necessity or a Socioeconomic Disaster . While there have been other articles about the tunnels, Abu Mdallaleh, an expert on the Palestinian economy, presents a systemic study on the impact of the tunnels on the economy using various socioeconomic indicators. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-right: 1.3pt"> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman">&nbsp;Researcher Natalie Hamdan presents a study on the changing role of Qatar within the Arab regional system since 1995. It has been an increasing reality that Qatar has regionally assumed a role larger than its size and its interference in Palestinian politics has become a worrying factor. Consequently, SeyasatMagazine believes this is a timely analysis and re-reading of the Qatari case. </span> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-right: 1.3pt"> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman">&nbsp;In the articles section, we present a comprehensive article on the situation in Nahr al-Bared Camp by researcher Rif at Shana a from Lebanon. The camp was completely destroyed when it was seized by extremist gangs. Shana a portrays the current situation in the camp using figures, dates and witness interviews, urging an immediate and effective response in reconstructing the camp. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-right: 1.3pt"> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman">&nbsp;Author and poet, Saleem Naffar writes about the constants and variables of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. Naffar believes there are constants and variables in both the Palestinian position and the Israeli position. Experience has shown that the difference in positions and as to whether to lead or refraining from negotiations is dependent on the Palestinian concept and understanding. </span> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-right: 1.3pt"> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman">Author Talal Abu Rokbeh tackles the issue of Jerusalem and reviews the various developments&nbsp; witnessed there, especially in light of the vicious settlement campaign executed by Israel. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-right: 1.3pt"> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman">&nbsp;Seyasat Magazine devotes its roundtable session to the ongoing discussion on economic conditions in Gaza.
